Edgars Fashion Shoot with HDI

What a fun day with old friends at HDI , doing what I love with a twist of high fashion for Edgars.Fashion makeup really allows me to explore different techniques and colours together. We decided that big lash and bright lips were appropriate for this shoot due to the brief as well as the fact the the girls loved loved the lashes when they were looking through my kit and wouldn't  let me not use them.It amazes me how with the simple application of thin pieces of plastic that are glued together  in the most intricate detail in the form and shape of  eyelashes can completely change the look of a person - accentuating  and complementing all features with elegance and style .

Lauren Dold -The start of my great MakeUp Adventure

Not only is Lauren Hill( now Dold) an amazing long time friend and confidant, she was the reason as to why I Natalie Coomer finally accomplished something that I most definitely wouldn't have done unless I had some sort of inspiration or special reason as to doing it. On the 1st of May 2011 was one exciting day,not only was MY friend marrying the love of her life and best friend but  I was going to be able to help in making her look her ultimate on one of the most unforgettable days of her life.What a momentous day as my first wedding  was my friends wedding.

In all my learning's with the art of makeup, I realised that through the use of colour,texture and technique it can make a person feel something about themselves that they do not get to feel on a regular day.Makeup is not about making you look completely different and changing who you are, it allows woman  to feel something more about themselves and that to never forget that they are the pallet and with out the beauty behind the makeup it would be nothing. We don't need makeup to look good we need makeup to accentuate what has been there all along.

I think that is all for now,  this would be my first  post on my first blog EVER so excuse me if this does not flow or make any sense, i will get better in time.
Oh one last thing  I dedicate this first post to LAUREN DOLD you were my inspiration behind everything to do with what i am doing now with my new hobbie... makeup,so thank you friend! .
